Warranty Information (09/2004 - subject to change)

The quality and craftsmanship built into every King Koil Mattress and foundation allows King Koil to offer a limited warranty against defects in workmanship and / or materials (other than fabric or handles).

Proof of purchase with date, place of purchase and purchase price is required to obtain service under this warranty.

If service resulting from any covered defect is required during the non-prorated year(s) after purchase, your King Koil mattress and/or foundation will be repaired without charge for labor and materials or, at manufacturer's option, replaced, exclusive of transportation costs.

If service resulting from any covered defect is required during prorated years of the applicable limited warranty, your King Koil mattress or foundation will be repaired or, at the manufacturer's option, replaced on a pro-rata basis, plus all transportation costs.

If identical materials are not available at time of service, the manufacturer may substitute materials of comparable quality.

RETAIN YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE AND ANY WARRANTY CARD:
This Limited Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear and/or the following circumstances:

  1. If bedding is found to be unsanitary.
  2. When product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship or material.
  3. Any Queen- or King- size mattress and/or foundation that is used on a frame or bed rails without a center support rail.
  4. To any damage to the outer fabric of the cover, including wear and tear.
  5. If this product is used for commercial purposes.
  6. If purchaser does not present proof of purchase.
  7. See the warranty card that accompanies your mattress for additional and specific information relating to the model that you purchased

HANDLES
Handles are not covered by this Limited Warranty and are intended only to position the mattress. Do not use handles when turning mattress.

INADEQUATE FOUNDATION
If your mattress is damaged due to an inappropriate foundation which did not properly support the mattress, your warranty will be voided. This mattress is designed for full performance when used in conjunction with a matching foundation as part of a total sleep system. The use of an improper foundation may reduce mattress longevity and impair support and comfort.

WARRANTED BY LICENSEE DIRECTLY
Your warranty is offered by an independent manufacturer producing King Koil products under license. King Koil Licensing, Inc., licensor of King Koil Sleep products, makes no warranty to the original Purchaser at retail and assumes no responsibility or liability under this Limited Warranty other than providing the information as stated above.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON ANY KING KOIL LICENSED PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL NOT EXCEED IN DURATION THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY RELATING TO THAT PRODUCT.

The remedies provided herein are exclusive remedies provided under any warranty for a particular product, express or implied. Licensee / Manufacturer shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damage arising out of the use of this product, and in no event shall its liability exceed the purchase price of the product.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation on the duration of implied warranties may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
