Sleep Experts Supports SafeHaven of Tarrant County During National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October 5, 2011 - October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and North Texas mattress retailer Sleep Experts is supporting SafeHaven of Tarrant County by leveraging the power of social media. From now through October 31, Sleep Experts will donate $1 to SafeHaven for every new "Like" to its Share the Gift of Sleep Facebook page located at http://www.facebook.com/gift.of.sleep.

"During National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we can all do our part to spread the word and help bring an end to family violence," said Christine Cook, Wife, Mom and President of Sleep Experts. "We invite North Texans to join the Share the Gift of Sleep Facebook community today, share with their friends, and help show our collective support for SafeHaven of Tarrant County."

SafeHaven of Tarrant County exists to end family violence through safety, support, prevention and social change. SafeHaven served more than 2,500 women and children escaping abuse in its two emergency shelters in 2010.
